Skull Model

Well, after years of working in the games industry I finally went back to my roots and worked on some medical art! I've always wanted to do a decent skull that's accurate yet simple and clean enough to be used as reference for artists. This skull has all the bony landmarks that you would find on the real thing including all the foramen and sutures. It was proportioned to fit a standard male head mesh. I intentionally left out any surface features that would normally be attributed to individual variation. That is, this is pretty much a standard, average skull with only the important features modeled.

I'm in the process of getting this printed and eventually made available to whomever would like to purchase it. The working size right now is around 8.5 cm. The jaw will be removable and it will come unpainted.

Anyways, I'm really excited about this project cause I know how much I've wanted a detailed skull reference in the past whenever I started a head sculpt!
